The Bulk Filler System for dry products is an accurate and easy to operate machine which features a semi-automatic scale with automatic tare. With it’s automatic feed, speed controls for both bulk and dribble feed rates, and automatic set points, this filling machine is highly sought after. The product flow from the hopper to feed pan can also be controlled by an adjustable slide gate (included). All product contact surfaces are stainless steel and easily disassembled for cleaning and maintenance. This is the ideal filling machine for an operation progressing from hand filling to automatic filling of any bulk-sized cartonsor bags.

To begin, the product to be filled is loaded into the hopper, and the target weight is set. The package is then placed on top of the scale, and the table is adjusted (up/down) so that the funnel is inside the bag. After the completion of the first fill cycle initiated via foot pedal, the controller will automatically switch into “learn mode” for the first cycle. During this time, the controller tests the flow characteristics of the product, and decides the best speeds and duration for the fill cycle. The bag is then removed and sealed. Each successive container is now filled according to the program, by placing it under the funnel and depressing the foot pedal. If you wish to integrate this Dry Product Filler with an Indexing Conveyor you can automatically fill rigid containers such as jars and cans.

    APACKS Semi-Automatic Overflow Filler is typically used in packaging applications where a consistent visual (cosmetic) fill level is required. The desired product to be filled is held in a stainless steel reservoir, then pumped into a manifold to disperse product to each of your filling nozzles. Once the product reaches your desired cosmetic fill level in each bottle, excess product or foam overflows back to the reservoir.
