Semi-Automatic Piston Filling Machine for Free Flowing Liquids
Semi-Automatic Piston Filler For Thin Liquid
APACKS entry level tabletop piston filling machine is highly accurate, versatile, and extremely user friendly. This volumetric piston filler draws liquids and other low viscosity products directly from a tank or drum which eliminates the need for a product hopper. This piston filler can also be used as a metering pump to dispense a controlled volume if necessary. Dis-assembly and cleaning is extraordinarily easy and is usually accomplished in a matter of minutes (no tools required). The operator drops a line of flexible tubing into a drum or tank, adjusts the volume of fill to the desired setting and places an empty container under the filling nozzle. With a simple press of a foot pedal, the exact quantity of product is drawn from the drum and dispensed into the container. The machine operates one fill at a time, and stands by until the foot pedal is depressed again.
Available in four different types of filling methods: The Volumetric Single Head Piston Filler comes in a variety of Piston sizes for either thin or thick products while the Single Head Positive Displacement Pump Filler can fill a wide range of product viscosities from 1oz to 1 gallon. The Gravity Filler fills thin liquids volumetrically-by-time and can be configured for two or four heads. The Two Head Overflow Filler provides exceptional cosmetic fills for thin products by offering an all-inclusive, user- friendly production line. Econoline Systems include a 28 inch Rotary Loading Turntable, 10 foot Conveyor, your choice of four Automatic Fillers, Handheld Chuck Capper, plus one Chuck and Insert, and a 28 inch Rotary Accumulating Turntable. These systems are built with anodized aluminum construction and mounted on casters with leveling legs requiring only minimal assembly. PLC touch screen controls and DC gear motors on the Turntables and Conveyor come standard.
Here is an aerosol filling line that’s perfect for start-ups or small volume production. It features semi-automatic operation to produce 600 to 900 aerosol containers per hour with only 3 operators. The first operator loads containers on to our rotary loading table while inspecting the containers for quality. Filling is performed by an automatic single head, or two head, tabletop piston filling machine for consistent filling volume. The second operator manually places the spray valve on the container. Both the single head valve crimper and 5 head gasser/shaker are automatic. The third operator takes the spray cans from the rotary accumulating table, applies the label with the semi-automatic labeler, puts the cap on, gives a final inspection and places the finished product into the cases.
APACKS’ Automatic Overflow Filler for Corrosive Products is engineered to fill products like acid solutions, etching chemicals, lime and calcium removers, pH lowering liquids, vinegar, citric concentrates, bleaches, brine solutions and more. The entire fluid path resists corrosion, from the pump to the check value. Built on a heavy duty, welded 304 stainless steel frame and mounted on four heavy duty leveling legs, this Filler offers superb flexibility with touch-screen PLC controls and adjustable nozzle stroke and nozzle spacing. The Corrosive Overflow Filler is available with one to sixteen heads and, like any of APACKS machines, can be designed for exterior corrosion resistance in environments that can shorten equipment life.
This is an example of a semi-automatic aerosol filling line, perfect for small volume production. It features a semi-automatic operation capable of producing up to 1,200 to 2,400 aerosol containers per hour. The first operator loads containers on to our rotary loading table while inspecting the containers for imperfections. Filling, valve placement, valve crimping, gasser/shakers, and labeling are all automated. The second operator removes the spray cans from the rotary accumulating table, places the over cap, inspects, and places the finished product into cases. The third operator stacks the cases on pallets and preps the pallets for shipping.
