We DO Manufacture Filling Machines, Capping Machines, Conveyors and More
Years ago, before we started manufacturing our own fillers, cappers, conveyors and other equipment, our pace was a lot slower. All we had to do was wait for everything to be shipped in so we could assemble a line for testing. We filled the waiting time by calling a customer to explain that the shipment didn’t arrive. Other times we
explained that the wrong product arrived so there would be more waiting for the right machine to get here.
Waiting was only one of the reasons we started manufacturing. The other reason was that the manufacturers made machines to handle 50% of the needs, as the needs were back in the 80’s. The other half was deemed “custom” and would take months more to produce, if everything worked right.
So, we set up our state of the art manufacturing to be responsive to our customer’s needs. The picture above was taken soon after we moved in to our new facility. That new construction is now done and full of projects being completed. So, come on in and take a short tour.
It all starts with listening to you. While you can’t see the earpiece, Dan Grasser is actually taking notes. He is listening to a customer tell him about the properties of the products to be filled, the specs of the containers, the production quantities, and any other important considerations or concerns the customer has.
Our engineers take that information, feed it into a 3D CAD program and prepare a digital version of the new machine. They take the customer’s space allocation, along with other equipment in the line, into consideration with the design. The data generated from the design gives us what we need to send a quote off to the customer for approval.
Any changes from the customer are incorporated in the design and we start manufacturing. Frame construction begins at one end. At the other end, our CNC machine starts up. The guys begin making all the small fittings, nozzles and other components we will need to make the machine.
Somewhere in the middle, as the components come together, assembly begins. Here is Marc going over the details with the crew just before assembly begins on a new filling system. Whether we are building an entire line or just a single machine, we set it up to test it for both performance and quality.
When you need new liquid packaging equipment, give us a call and tell us what you want to accomplish. The person listening will be the same person responsible for making sure that your equipment does what you want it to do.
Check back here from time to time. We will add more pictures to let you see what we’re doing.
